I made Gwyn and Elain because they’re both my girls and I couldn’t help it. And yes, I put them together because despite the ship wars going on right now, Gwyn and Elain would be fast friends and we all know it. I mean sure, the Elriel/Gwynriel interactions in ACOSF were great, but we were ROBBED of Elwyn moments.
Can you imagine them meeting for the first time, and Gwyn maybe feeling nervous about it because this is Nesta’s sister since birth. But Elain takes her hand and says “You’re Nesta’s sister, which makes you mine, too.” Or maybe it’s vice versa, and Elain feels nervous meeting Nesta’s chosen sister, but Gywn says this to her. Imagine Elain and Gwyn trading stories about Nesta. Gwyn tells Elain about their first sleepover, Elain tells Gwyn about Nesta seducing that guy at the ball with her dancing skills and both of them end up laughing until they’re in tears. Imagine Nesta seeing her sister by blood and her sister by choice bonding, and her heart feeling full. Or better yet, seeing both of her blood sisters and both of her chosen sisters bonding, and all four of them teasing her together.
And you guys, just imagine Gywn and Elain ganging up on Azriel. What if they both find about the necklace thing, and they never let him live it down. They bring it up every chance they get. Everytime Az tries to give Elain something she takes it, but hands it back and says “Are you sure you don’t wanna regift this to Gwyn?” And everytime he attempts to give Gwyn something she asks “Was this originally meant for Elain?” You guys cannot tell me that wouldn’t be GOLD. Somebody PLEASE write this, I’m begging you, I need it in my life.
